Starting again

Hi all,

It has been almost 30 years since I sold my trailer/sailer, 30 years of abstinence mainly because of my profession.

Well, I used crew in regattas along the South Wales coast and there was my little boat "just for fun".

So now, I have decided to start again, I am expecting to get my new "used" 10m of GRP delivered soon and then I will be off to explore the Baltic.

Oh, btw, I have moved home to Hamburg and will have the boat moored in Kiel, "wow" free accomodation during Kiel Week, well not quite gratis!

Finally, I look forward to chatting and discussing all things maritime with you guys and gulls!

Welcome aboard!! Good to have you here. I made it to Kieler Woche in 1987. What a great time for a U. S. Navy Cruiser. Interesting place and wonderful beer and lots of parties.

I'm 4th generation American but my roots are near where you live and I was able to spend 4 years in Germany in the early 70s.
