St Augustine Sailors
Hi all,
the Admiral and I will be the area the end of next month and we were hoping to do a little bit of sailing, and we were wondering if there was anyone in the area up to take out a couple of newbies for a couple of hours. If there is anyone interested in doing this please PM me. Thanks Paul |

Aloha Jack,
I don't know why you didn't get any other responses to your post. There just might not be any other forum members in that area. Welcome aboard anyway. Quantico Marine? Kind Regards, JohnL |

Paul,
I work for a living. I do not even get out for the weekends. It takes me at least two hours to get to the inlet. The tide has to right for me to leave my dock. The tide is approximately 5 foot. I spend more time on maintenace than taking the boat out. I am still working on the interior and the shift mechanism. Sailing sure is fun? I am trying to get it ready for retirement. I do not know others in St. Augustine. John |

John and JohnL,
thanks for the replies. I am actually going to be visiting both of you locations this year. John, I will be in St Aug, end of this month and JohnL I will be in your location in August. John, are you on Anastsia Island? Or somewhere up the St Johns river? What level do you teach? Thanks Paul |

Aloha Paul,
If you get to the Big Island in August, look me up. Our club does sail instruction and some inshore day trips. Kind Regards, JohnL |

JOhn,
the world is a very small place, my wife's former mother in law lives on Anastasia Island. she does real estate there, and there is a good possibility that you taught either my step son or step daughter for a little while when they lived there several years ago. JohnL, if the admiral and I make it to the Big Island, we will look you up and take advantage of that sailing. Paul |
