Spring Moon joins from Vancouver, B.C.

Hello Cruising World!

It's exciting to join a group of knot-icals. We're looking to cruise this April - up to Desolation Sound for a couple of weeks - mid-month. Any other cruisers out their going our way?

Spring Moon is our pride & joy - a Lord Nelson 41 which is as safe as they get- and goes the right speed for us. She's not Lightening - but we're not looking for the fast lane. That's what we're leaving behind!

Looking forward to getting to know other Cruisers..

Spring Moon & co.

Welcome aboard Spring Moon. Nice name. Will be out and about in that relative area but won't be until July, August and September. I will probably stick to the other side of Quadra though and head up a ways. My plans change as I cruise.

Welcome Spring Moon:

Had the boat up in your area in 2007 did a nice cruise up to Deso Sound in late June. People thought we were too early. Weather was fine with me. Not all sun but enough sunny days. No crowds.

Welcome to the forum Spring Moon. From your post, seems you will be out-and-about in three weeks or so. I am hopeing to get out for the month of April, but work keeps knocking on the door. You know how it goes, it will only take you two days and ends up taking a week. With that being said I hope to get out around the third or fourth of April. I am moored in Comox, so not too far to go to hit Johnstone Strait. Stay in touch and hope to see you out there, maybe a meet at Heriot Bay??
Welcome to the forum, I am sure you will enjoy youself here.

Aloha and Welcome aboard!
I'd really like to cruise up your way sometime. Might be in a couple years.
Kind regards,

Is Lord Nelson the name of ship or type. I used to own a 41 ft Folkes named Lord Nelson.

Spring Moon,
Welcome from another Vancouverite. Hope you get the good weather while you're there. Though April is pretty early, at least you'll avoid the summer crowds. Keep a sharp look-out for deadheads along your route.

HI Spring Moon - all the way from Hobart Tasmania. I spent a couple of nights in Vancouver a number of years ago - nice place.
