Solo World Sailor Checking In

Glad to pull in to this harbor and find it filled with so many good people . I've owned and lived aboard Mika for many years. She has carried me safely alone around the world. She has taught me much but I am always learning and look forward to picking up further knowledge from this forum. I hope I can pass on what knowledge I have acquired and should anyone want further information they can visit my web site.

Michael, welcome. Glad you finally joined us. Heard they moved you to a more convenient slip for daily escapes

Ahoy and welcome Michael - Good to have your experiences and expertise available - especially since you moved from my dock WAAAY over to that other dock.

Well Micheal.

I have heard the interview about you on the program "With Winds and Seas." I liked that interview. That's how I stumbled across your website.

Well not really, Kai.

He's more like Elusive's neighbor than he is your neighbor!!

Well Kai.

Nothing is stopping you from moving down that way?

But I can guess what would prevent that from happening!!

me thinks that I'm gonna have to wander over to Michael's boat get him to at least log in again ... These solo sailors get off the grid for so long that they often have to be re-educated about certain things.

We would never accuse him of being anti social, just cruising with a bent sextant

I had to drag him, kicking and carping, up the stairs to the computer room, walk him through 15 gazillion OTHER things before I forced him to log in. Hopefully I wasn't my usual kind and forgiving self and he has learned how to get logged on and find his way around. If not - I have lots of rubber hose.
