Question Single Handed Seasonal Cruise: Pac NW to NoCal SacDelta.

Ahoy, all. Just cogitatin' about the maximum length for a single-handed cruiser (diesel) sailor who's not as spry and nimble as afore. I'm more like Popeye's Granpappy. Also, going north to the Pac NW in May and returning to the Sac Delta in late August for wintering: good timing, or no? Huggin' the coast line to duck into harbor, albeit. I'm fancyin' a snowbirding liveaboard, with a homeport in either area, (prolly SacDelta for warmth), like Korth's Pirates' Lair, mayhaps. Ideas? Thanks.

Aloha and welcome aboard!
Good to have you here. Hard decision. Smaller boats move around under your feet a lot but have sails that are easier to handle for us old guys.
kind regards,
