Signed Up At Last

Hello All,

John is my name.
I've been a lurker on this great forum for some time now so it's about time I grasped the nettle and signed up.

I have been sailing for over twenty years now, starting with a 12ft plywood dinghy and working my way up through the ranks of sailboats...
Last summer (2014) I made a big move to a brand new Lagoon 39 catamaran and I'm pleased to say that it has exceeded my expectations.
My sailing experience to date has consisted of coastal cruising: Ireland, UK, France - no ocean crossing (yet).

I look forward to many more happy sailing adventures.

Howdy and Welcome Aboard the Forum John!

I like the Lagoon line of cats. The 380 (or about that size) seems just right for me (and some mermaid in the future). I wish I had one now.

Good luck on your sailing adventures and have fun!

Ahoy All Sailors! I love traditional sailboats of all kinds (e.g. gaff rigged, schooners, cutters, smacks, woodies, etc.). See my CF Profile "About Me" page for details.
