Sailing on the Vineyard

Hey I just read a forum about cape cod and vineyard sailing and learned a great deal from the contributors. So I signed up and here I am. Most of the sailing I've done is on the beloved Sunfish, of every color, weight, and integrity rating out there.. Many adventures on the Sunfish in and out of harbor/ off south shore MV, in Katama bay, Tashmoo, the lagoon, the ponds... Someday I aspire to get sailing on bigger boats in deeper waters. Until then, I'll be getting wet on a sunfish!

Aloha and welcome aboard!
Can't go wrong with a Sunfish but a little hard to cruise on one.
kind regards,

Re: Sailing on the Vineyard

Welcome,

I grew up on the Vineyard. First Sunfish, then Laser IIs and 420s, then bigger boats.

For any islander, it's a great place to hail from, a great place to leave, and a great place to go back home. Doubly true for sailors.
