Talking Rookie on board

Hi Everyone!

Thanks for the acceptance in the forum and secondly i am thrilled to be able to explore the world of sailing!

The story how i came across my boat is a very special one , you ready!?

I had a dinner with my girl couple of months ago, next a lake romantic blablabla.......anyway next to where we ate there was this beautiful sailing boat looking at us. As the conversation went on i stated my desire/ dream that i really wish to have a sailing boat one day. The conversation went on and my lady told me..well if you really want something it will for sure happen. At that point i did and didn't think too much of it until the next day!!!! WHEN AN OLD FRIEND CALLS ME AND ASKS ME WHETHER I WOULD BE INTERESTED IN BECOMING A NEW OWNER OF HIS EBOAT!!!! Imagine my reaction!!! WOW!!!
For the last month it has been crazy here...it feels like i fell in love again, and the only thing i do is collect material and knowledge to work on the boat!

I've redone the whole underwater paint work incl. antifouling, top deck complete remake with end KiwiGrip non-skid paint which so far looks and feels very very good!

Next off is the electricity which is a bit of a challenge but on the other hand i had more challenging situations so i'm sure i will manage!

However everyone, this is me Jack the Eboat nice to meet you all!

J,
