Roller Headsails for Club Racing

Hi I would love to cruise more but work gets in the way, so I club race to satisfy my need for activity on the water.I race my First 36.7 badly.I recently changed rto a roller headsail [in anticipation of more cruising] but its dacron and baggy. Iam thinking of getting aroller made from a more exotic material [mylar, kevlar ?] any advice

Re: Roller Headsails for Club Racing

Greetings and welcome aboard the CF, Daniel r.

At best, even the most hi-tech furling/reefing headsail is going to be a bad compromise for racing.
