Reboot: Hello from Tacoma

Hello all

Well I have been on this site for a bit but after much sage advice from those on this site, as well as those on the dock and much searching I can reboot myself here. I have finally gotten into a boat I love to be on is stable and ready to learn on as I take my slow steady thought out steps toward the open sea. So to this site again I say HELLO!

Nice, way to go Marq. I like the looks of the Mariner 32's.

Welcome. You live in a beautiful area. I lived in Gig Harbor and sailed the Sound years ago.

Enjoy.

Welcome. Getting a little cold and rainy there probably. Spent many summers in Belleview on Lake Washington.

No this is the Nomad II from Seattle. Mariner 32 Hull#28. From the logs on board she came up from California then stayed in Elliot bay cruising the Puget sound, San Juans and a trip to Anchorage AK. Next destination...... wherever I wander

Re: Reboot: Hello from Tacoma

Cool! There is a Skoocum 47' in Homer named "Nomad II", harbor, has been fishing here for years, but I went to work a couple of weeks ago and didn't know if she had changed hands. Thanks and happy sailing.

Re: Reboot: Hello from Tacoma

Aloha and welcome aboard!
The 32 is the little sister to my old wood 35 in the photo in my profile. Great sailing boat. I have a couple of booms and a mizzen mast for a 32 that I helped salvage many years ago.
kind regards,
