Greetings to cruisers around the world!

Our recently acquired and rather famous S&S 34 "Lionheart" is on the hardstand having a repaint and some refurbishment as I write this.

I look forward to getting her back next weekend and, early in the new year, having a few adventures to report to you all.

May your winds be fair.

Welcome and congrats on new boat - Are you going to allow Lionheart to unwind (circle anticlockwise?)

Re: Queenscliff, Victoria, Australia

Well, Rusky, we are a couple of years (or so) from hanging up the ballet slippers and planning some serious sea miles. Having said that, inspired to no small degree by a wonderful book called "Slow Travel" by Mari Rhydwen, I have in mind a trip across to WA, up to Indonesia (via Christmas Island) across to Sri Lanka, Maldives, Mauritius, round the south of Madagascar, up the bMozambique strait to Tanga in Tanzania.

I was brought up in Central Africa and I would love to travel overland from Tanga to Malawi and Zambia and visit some of those places I knew as a child, and as a teenager, and introduce my partner (the gorgeous Lyndy) to Africa.

After that I have no idea.
