Portal sailing website project

Hi,

unfortunately I'm not living on my boat. Together with some people in several countries I am working on a new global web project (portal website on sailing / boating) which will be some kind of global internet based marina handbook or directory. I'm looking for some more people to join our team and found this forum, which might be helpful for new contacts.

I'm searching people especially from the following countries:

- Australia
- Croatia
- France
- Greece
- Netherlands
- New Zealand
- South Africa

Time expenditure for working with us will be 10 to 15 hours a week or less.

The team member will be responsible for:
* Maintaining regional data in our website's database
* Maintaining contacts to regional marinas, charter companies and
sailing associations
* Acquisition of advertising partners
* Observation and evaluation of your regional media for sailing
* Follow discussions and contribute own input to our internal online forum

His profile should be:
* Plenty of contacts into the local water sport- and sailing associations
and local sailing community
* Being reachable by phone some hours a weekday
* PC and Internet knowledge, ideally running a own business website
* Basic communication skills in English

Should you be interested, please get in contact via email with Mr Hillebrand (mailto:sailingproject@gmx.net).

Thumbs up Good Luck

Good luck with your sailing/boating portal CaptainTom.

I understand you're gonna have a link to this site on your portal

Not to fragment the community too much, I guess you can refer to this board as your bulletin board for cruisers - instead of making another one for your portal.

Hang around and tell us more about it. When do you think you'll go public?

Thanks

Thanks for your wishes, Gisle.

We are planning to go public in May - if possible. But it depends on my success in building up a strong team.

Regards
Thomas
