Permission to board?

A few words about myself seem in order here. I am male, 69 yrs. of age (an old fart). Born in England, served in the Royal Navy for 7 years. Had trouble settling down on being demobbed so joined a friend in the same situation and took his father's boat from Falmouth to the West Indies and back via Bermuda for a year. Got married and emigrated to Canada, currently live in Toronto until 'er at work retires next month then we plan on moving to a small place called Goderich on Lake Huron. We currently own a Hughes 31 sloop, not fast by any means but very comfortable and easy to handle on the Great Lakes. Most sailing to date has been on Lake Ontario, but with the move next year we plan to sail to Goderich via the Welland Canal, Lake Erie and into Lake Huron. Then we shall be sailing in Georgian Bay and I hope to cover all the Great Lakes before I have to hang up my sea-boots. Have been lurking for a while before deciding to leap into the fray.
Cheers to all.

Port Credit Harbour Marina. I actually live in Weston so it's about 20 mins. from here to Port Credit via 401, 427 and QEW. Just have to be careful about the timing though as it can be brutal anywhere around rush-hour.
