Pearson 10m specs

Any one know where I can get specs and copies of original owners manuals....i have a 78 pearson 10m and need to tension the standing rigging but I can't find specs anywhere.

The 10M has a pretty generic rig, so you can use a pretty generic tuning guide. If you just Google 'rig tune' you should get a good idea of how to proceed.
Also, I think you mentioned on another thread that you were planning a long trip, and you had the mast down right now. It would be worth your while on a boat that old to pull and inspect the chainplates.

Sorry for the delay in response.....i was planning on pulling the mast down to clean and polish but the marina it's in wants 750 down 750 back up so it will wait until she reaches her new home in Baltimore. All of the rigging is in brand new looking condition, the shrouds are nice and tight but should I be concerned with the forestay it seems rather slack when I let the back stay tension off. compared to other boats in the yard? I know there should be some for sail trim but how much?
