Oz Steel

I have been a Ganley owner for 16 years. Actually I built this boat myself and it took 20 years to complete. I modified the solution design to soften the overall look of the boat and this was done with Dennis looking on all those years ago. The yacht gets great reaction when ever we are out and about in New Zealand.
To see photos of my yacht visit www.yachtoceanrose. I was able to fit such things as a hold in what was the for peck. We are family of four and so the layout of the yachts interior is such that we have a grand cabin aft and full size engine room, large dinning / lounge area with doodle bed and various single bunks some of which fold away, all of which works well for us. On deck rain collection system from both booms integrating removable roof / sun roof allows for substantial water collection. When you you build a 52 ft yacht it is possible to build in all of the ideas that you wish were in production boats but aren't. My aim in building this boat was to have a steel boat and all of the benefits that steel provides and the finish of a fibreglass boat along with details of that of a traditional wooden boat in design and detail.

Re: Oz Steel

I can't get the link to work. I'm a really big fan of Ganley's designs, though. Welcome to CF!
