Hello everyone , Angus here and would like to introduce myself my youngest son is on his way to Med School my wife passed away 3 yrs. Ago of Breast Cancer and we were divers and owned boats all my life and jet ski's and we have looked at 50 and 56 ft. Carver Yachts and we couldn't do it with her frail body the last 7 yrs. So now it looks like im doing it on my own while im still fairly young 51 , well I still feel young lol !!! , I would like to get to know people on this site and especially ones who own Carvers as I would like to learn from their own personal experience , im looking forward to getting back in the water and living in my home on the water ..........

Welcome angus1, it sounds as though she would be pleased with your decision, move ahead and celebrate her memory.

Re: Ohooooooy !!!

Welcome Angus!

As you'll soon find out, the mental provisioning the CF provides is quite broad. You've got your soup, your nuts (did you know nuts are in season all year round?), conch fritters, fish 'n chips, chips n' sauce/salsa, paint chips, buffalo chips, chips off the ol' block, new kids on the block( like you and I), dingy davits, dingy broads (Oh no he didn't!!), inkie dinkie I just laid a stinkie, and of course, guns n' anchors!

Day or night, 24/7/365, your friends on CF are here for you! They are crossing oceans, gunk-holing, doodle-bugging to and fro, and securely anchored to mother Earth. Toss your questions into the fray and see where the answers lead you.

Good luck in your search!

Aloha skipr John, thank you for your reply and I enjoy reading the post here and sure hope to run into some Carver owners but I still like hearing from the other people on here also and I see your around the islands and been diving there a few times and my next door neighbor is the Captain of a Cargo ship that delivers cars , heavy equipment from san Diego I this she called Jean Anne and his friend owns the Co. Called Pasha Shipping , very wealthy but wouldn't know it multi Billionaire very nice gets his haircut by my neighbor wife in the garage lol , I kno he would put my 565 Carver on Jean Anne and take her to the islands but I still need to work so until I find out what type of business I can start there I will have to stay in so. Calif. Coast , thank you and let me know if you connect with other people who have Carver Yachts in Hawaii , take care ...... Angus M.
