it's some years off yet but I appear to be heading towards this wonderful lifestyle. currently I'm lake bound but enjoying spare moments on board a rob roy 23 which is a yawl rigged weekender with accommodation for two. this is my second sailboat and I have so much yet to learn, but I feel the pull of the ocean. truth is, the sea has been calling all my life, I've just been putting it aside for other things.
I've visited before but never thought to register. this is the place for big boats and they're different from me. well, that's what I thought.
through your efforts you've gained an avid reader but I'm afraid I'm not much of a chatter. so I'll probably be lurking and reading and no one will be any the wiser.
but for offering this community and ebb and flow of your conversations, I give you all thanks for contributing to my own edification, by way of this small introduction.
