Re: Offer accepted

We went for the Lagoon. Unless they are really into sailing women tend to prefer the catamaran my wife was no exception. I liked the Hanse and it was at a good price but in the end it was choosing between a camper or a condo.

The Lagoon was a previous liveaboard so it was almost totally equipped for that. The Hanse was going to need a bit more work to get there. The price gap between the 2 was getting ridiculously small.

Anyway, what I'm not paying for in additional equipment is made up by the fact that marinas are ridiculously expensive for cats.

Yardie

Congrats on the 380
We spent a month on one last year, I was really impressed with it, it was a 2006 bvi chartered owners version with bagged out sails.

On my Navionics average speed logged at 7.2 knots over the month in 12 to 25 knots true.

I'm sure you will be happy with her

Re: Offer accepted

Congrats! I have the opposite problem, I want a mono- hubby wants a bigger place. I want 36' or less- he wants 48+. Trying to explain the cost differences isn't quite working.......
Have a great time and keep us updated.

Re: Offer accepted

It's a cat. Still getting used to it. The cabins are bigger than I expected but still smaller than an apartment. Currently updating the electronics and adding more solar. Sailing has been light as this part of the med doesn't have a lot of wind but it's been a lot of fun to pull into a bay and go swimming just off the beach.
