novice - spring/summer racer, sometime cruiser

Hello out there, I'm Angela, just joined in the hopes of broadening my sailing knowledge and network. Started sailing last year at age 40, crewing on the J27s we race at Liberty Sailing Club here in Philadelphia. Really nice folks. Joined again this year and am much looking forward to races after work and the spring and fall chartered cruises in the Chesapeake Bay. Last time I fell in love with the Island Packet, and hope to live aboard one eventually. Good to be here!

Racing J-27s and chartering on the Chesapeake is a great way to get into the sport. And I can second your choice of Island Packets!
