Not another new guy

Good morning everyone.
Yet another new guy, I have been lurking around this site for many years, learning and growing. My time is growing near from being a want a be to a gona be. I am planing a educational fieldtrip to the Chesapaeke area in mid September to see what some of the boats I have been drooling over actually look like in person. The wish list for what boat is constantly evolving as my very limited knowledge grows. The very top of the list would be a Downeaster 32 to 38. You get the picture full keel heavy crusier prefer cutter rig. And the others that fall into that catagory, and this may yet again change. Henceforth the fieldtrip.

Is there anyone here that is going to be on the East coast from Maryland to Beaufort SC at that time frame who could help further my education.

Thanks and God bless
