Newe Boye here .. . . .

Hello, although I'm really an Olde Boye I'm a new boy here.
I've been lurking for some time, but as I'm brand new to yacht ownership I guess I could be popping up here with frequent questions or advice-seeking posts.
I've been associated with sailing for about 15 years but only as a charterer and occasional crewing on other people's yachts . . . and ownership is very different to spending a couple of weeks in idyllic waters like the Greek Ionian . . . or the slightly less idyllic waters of the Firth of Clyde. (The Clyde is only less idyllic than Greece in respect of the weather, but it's still a superb sailing area.)
We (my son & myself) have only had the yacht for about a month now, so look out for some questions coming to a forum near you!

Welcome! And congratulations on the newe boate :-) IMHO, boat ownership is a completely different and vastly better beast than chartering or crewing. Fair winds.
