Newbie into sailin but in love with the ocean

Hi all new on this forum and also new to sailing, spend few months on the northern atlantic on a big commercial fishing ship. Almost finished with studying for 4 years ( merchant officer all ships ) im at the beginning of my career, a freshmen. Born and raised within walking distance from the ocean, and having a sailor family and with always having someone around related to the ocean has made me to who i am today if its not on the water its in it surfing or swimming!

When you're far away from shore on the north atlantic and just passed a really bad low pressure front and within the next 100 nautical miles we will expect another one and see in distance a bluewater cruiser.. really blew my mind.

That was my first encounter with offshore sailing and im in love with the lifestyle ever since. Hope to buy a sea worthy ship within a year or two but for now im leaving Rotterdam within 2 weeks to Ipswich and after that im on my way to load and deliver & carry cargo in the caribbean. One voyage is around 2 months and i will make 3 of them total, i have a wonderfull girl that understands the life im living and wish my future adventures will be together.

For now greeting to all cruisers, adventureres.
Everyone you will ever meet knows something you don't thats why im here!

For the username its stand for pray and work.

Welcome here, and those two years of Latin I took in high school are still in there somewhere because I could read your moniker! Good luck in your travels.

Greetings and welcome from SW Florida. It's raining today but at least it's warm!
