Newbie from Springbok-land

Hi, people
I'm from Cape Town, been sailing for as long as I can remember, and am fortunate to have been paid to do it, too! It's one of the greatest experiences to share the sport with people, and to hang around with likeminded people is just a pleasure!
I look forward to learning and sharing!

Aloha Splash,
Welcome aboard!! We used to have a boat skipper at Keehi Lagoon who was known as "Captain Splash" because while negotiating the dock after a few rounds at the bar he would invariably end up in the water.
Good to have you here and I hope you share some of your experience with us.
Kind Regards,
JohnL

Welcome Splash! Good luck in the big game next weekend! I agree - one of the most fulfilling elements of our passion is interacting with "like-minded" people - I'm a cruiser at heart, waiting for the right time to go, three kids that I'm trying, with varying degrees of success, to "get it", but "slowly, slowly, catchee monkey", we'll get there!Experience and knowledge on this forum that educates (and humbles) me everyday! Stick with this one!! Fair winds buddy!!
