Newbie from New Brunswick

Hey all.
Been reading posts for a while.
From Miramichi, New Brunswick Canada.
Love this site, and sailing.
Just sold my beloved 22 foot Tanzer centerboard. Great learning boat, with a huge cockpit!!!! Over 7 feet long!! Family loved it.

Just sold it on a mission for something bigger to take coastal cruising and be able to stand up inside on and to work on. Found an older Bristol 27 ....yikes. Beautiful lines. hope to put this on the water next summer!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Newbie from New Brunswick

Congratulations! Tanzers are great boats but I’m sure you will love the space and comfort of your bigger boat. It’s a nice looking boat plus standing headroom is a wonderful thing!
There is a lot of good information to be found here as you prep the new boat. Hopefully you won’t have to work too hard to get it ready.
I sail out of Shediac.

Re: Newbie from New Brunswick

Welcome aboard - Tanzers are terrific but Bristols are better.
You have a good eye!
Winter is for dreaming - enjoy.
