Newbie from Nebraska

Hi all,

First I want to say that this is the most informative and fun forum I have found. A lot of real characters. And thats a good thing.

Bought my first sailboat last summer. A Cal 25 MKII that is in Kenosha, WI. Sailing Lake Michigan for now. My wife and I own a 21 acre farm in Nebraska. Quite a commute. Plan on learning on it for a couple years and then move up to a 34-38 boat. 3 years till retirement so that will work out great. Final destination is unknown.

Hope I can add something to this forum.

Ray

Welcome aboard Ray. I bought a Cal 39 last year and am now a liveaboard in Hampton, VA. There is a wealth of information on this board and you will enjoy it. May see ya in a few years if you get to the East coast.

Aloha Ray,
Welcome aboard! Great first boat! Good choice.
What I like most about this forum is the ability to ask questions and receive nearly immediate feedback.
Kind regards,
JohnL
