Newbie Cruiser Newlyweds Learning the Ropes of Sailing About the World for Awhile

Ahoy Cruisers Forum!

We hope you all enjoyed a restful Thanksgiving with loved ones.

We are Christie and Matt Butcher and want to introduce ourselves as we have found this forum to be a wealth of valuable information while we were preparing to get underway. We have recently tossed the docklines of our 1984 Aloha 34' to sail from Kemah, Texas along the Gulf Coast to the Bahamas and throughout the Caribbean for awhile.

If you're inclined, join us as we navigate through the learning curves of this adventure on our site at www.svkaleo.com.

Thank you again for sharing such useful content here. We look forward to continuing conversations through these threads.

Fair winds and following seas.

Aloha and welcome aboard!
Your boat had a good write up in more than one nautical magazine. I hope it serves you well.
