Newb

New to the forum and might as well be new to sailing as it’s been over 20 years since I last sailed anything.

Looking to get back in the game with a plan to retire to a boat full time. We have been huge into camping (travel trailers) for years, so I don’t think space is going to be a big issue.

Right now we are looking to weekend on Lake Norman (Huntersville, NC) and when we get some experience and comfort, go blue water. So I’m boat hunting and need a weekender for her, I, and 2 sons 11 and 13.

Re: Newb

Welcome.

There are a lot of good boats in the Lake Norman area. For the money it's hard to beat a Catalina 30; I know there are a lot over there.
