New to sailing with high hopes

Hey guys, 27 years old and as the title states, I got some high hopes and dreams with saili ng! I've spent most of my twenties traveling and I'm trying to transition from road tripping around the world to sailing around the world.

My experience level is limited, (grew up sailing with my family and was on a sailing team in high school) but I haven't sailed by myself in a decade. Looking to get some certifications and probably a little 24ft to do some coastal sailing but my dream is to be confident enough to do some bluewater sailing. Ultimate goal is to have a steel hull sailboat to do some Antarctic expeditions... like I said high hope's and thank you for accepting me into this community!

Welcome, You sound like I did when I was young. It can be done. I know because I did it. What memories. Keep at it and enjoy the trip.
