New to the forums...

But not to the site - been lurking quite a while now.

I'm Bill and we (my wife is Lisa) have Jo Beth a 1984 Pacific Seacraft Crealock 34 Cutter. We're based in Savannah, GA.

Hello!

Hi Bill and Lisa,

Since you have already crawled around here a bit already you shouldn't have trouble posting and getting into the discussions now that you are registered. The site looks best when you register.

Generally, concert promoters (like B. Ballard) attract fewer groupies than do the performers.
I don't think I've ever been a groupie, in the common sense - but (lately) I'm big enough to be mistaken for a group.

Aloha Bill and Lisa,
Welcome aboard! You have a wonderful boat. Couldn't get any better than that.
If you lurk around here a bit more you'll be one of GordMay's groupies like I am.
Kind Regards,
JohnL

Thanks for the "welcomes!"

No relation to any music industry folks, that I know of anyway. Most often, I'm asked about Bob Ballard.

Nope, not him either.

Ah well. We're looking forward to diving in!

Nice to see you have a Pacific Seacraft 34. I too am new to the forum and have a Pacific Seacraft 31, based in Southern CA.

I would love to hear from other PS owners.

Pacific Seacraft Forums and Mailing Lists

Greetings! VALIS (my boat) is a Pacific Seacraft 44, and I also do some occasional sailing on a friend's Crealock 37. Great boats.

There are some forums / mailing lists dedicated to Pacific Seacraft boats.

The Sailnet mailing list was shut down a few years ago, but it is now running again and it is where most of the activity is:
Messages

The Yahoo group became the place to go when Sailnet crashed and burned. Now that Sailnet is back up and running, it is pretty quiet, but still worth checking. You can subscribe to this as a mailing list, or just visit the website:
PacificSeacraft : Pacific Seacraft Boat Owners

You have to register to use these groups.

Thanks again everyone. It's good to see some other PSC owners here!

Paul: been on the Sailnet PSC list since '04 or so. Am also on the Yahoo gropu but it seems to have little or no activity other than spam. the Yahoo yanmar group has proven to be quite valuable.

Welcome Bill and Lisa! Been aboard a PS34 recently and was very impressed. Met the other Ballard (Bob) while he was here diving on the Lusitania - he was impressive too! Looking forward to catching you "across he threads". Fair winds!
