New to the forum and sailing

Hello. My name is james and i am new here. Im fairly new ro sailing but i spend a lot of time researching and educating my self on sailing, sailboats and cruising. My goal is to get my own sailboat and to become a liveaboard, traveling as much of the world as i can,or die trying. For now though, id like to crew for some one and learn first hand to be a confident sailor. I am married, but unfortunately that will be changing soon.

Welcome aboard CF, Catchthewind. Many of the posters on CF are unmarried. Not to worry. You might want to put in a crew available ad in that portion of the classifieds.

Probably the easiest way to meet folks with boats is to check the notice boards at the local yacht clubs, there are often crew wanted for racing ads posted, and some skippers like to bring newbies along.

Easiest way to meet people with boats and hopefully get some experience on them is to buy one and tie up / moor where there are lots of other ones
