New to site

Hi, I am looking for an opportunity to sail the Sea of Cortez. My wife and I live off the grid on a 40 acre Ranch in Yucca Az. in the winter and are camp Host in the High Sierras in the summer. I raced Hobies my younger years and love the Sea of Cortez. I also was fortunate enough to sail the Caribbean in a 44 Lagoon. Just wondering what opportunities might be available.

Welcome aboard Jay! I am not sure what opportunities there are but you might also try posting a crew available ad in the classifieds. Good luck!

Thanks Don. Have you ever cruised the Sea of Cortez?

Not yet, only visited Mulege, Loreto, Bahia Los Angeles (but not sailing) and did a little sailing trip in open lug rigged dories around Magdalena Bay camping out around the shore too. Underwater it was beautiful. Above water too, but I happen to like deserts... when I got plenty of shade and a cool drink at midday. I'm not a full blooded Englishman. I don't have any longer trips planned for my boat and crew, but if I did, it would certainly be to SOC. I'm sure I can get my crew for the trip down, not sure how many I can keep for the trip back up!
