New to Sailing and to Lake Champlain

I just wanted to say "HI" to everyone. I'm new to the forum and to sailing. My wife and I recently moved to the Lake Placid area and have been enjoying sailing on Lake Champlain with some friends. We are currently taking lessons and hope to one day purchase a small cruiser. We're trying to learn all we can.

Nice area - we're headed for Lake Champlain soon for the second time this summer. Lots of good anchorages - and from my experience only the well known ones get crowded - and places to visit on land when you feel the urge.

Enjoy!

We've heard the same thing. My wife and I are very excited about our new adventure. We would like to get a cruiser for weekend trips and maybe 5-7 day vacations on the lake. We've discovered some fun stuff to do in the Burlington area.
