New to Sailing and the Bay Area

Hi all,

I've just relocated to the San Francisco / Bay area, near Berkeley, and am very interested in getting more experience on the water. I've only been sailing twice, and I loved it. I'm originally from the New York area, and I can't believe the weather out here.

I'm hoping to find someone who can offer some experience or lessons in exchange for crewing, or plain labor/cleaning/maintenance. But that's something for the classifieds/crew positions forum.

Thanks to all for making these boards so lively. It's been a great place to learn. Happy Holidays.

Robert

Also, try Cass Marina in Sausalito. I used to teach there. Great folks. They have a Sailing School, Rental Marina, Crewed Charters, etc. Been serving the SF Bay area for almost 50 years now.

Welcome to Cassmarina.com

The bay is a great place to learn. Sailing out of the east bay allows for a sweet sail home, and especially in summer. WELCOME & BEST WISHES in learning the art of sailing......i2f
