Hello all,

I own/pilot a 2003 Regal Commodore 3860 in the Sunshine State.

Although I love doing as much as I can in terms of maintenance, my knowledge is rather limited and I often find myself getting overwhelmed...like with the canvas enclosure that I'm getting ready to try and redo on my own

There is a ton of valuable advice on this forum! I'm looking forward to learning as much as I possibly can from you.

Badsanta,

Thank you for the advice! I've spent a good amount of time watching Sailrite's canvas videos, however, they all seem to be directed towards patterning the enclosure from scratch. I plan on duplicating my old enclosure, panel by panel. I have yet to find anybody who has done it this way, and there may be a very valid reason for that haha!, but I'm hoping it will be easier.

Re: New to Forums

I hope your project turns out well.

I need to redo my bimini, and I also have a sailrite sewing machine. I might give it a try.

Getting the foot tension right is the hard part for me.

Also, I use thread guaranteed for five years so everything does not come apart when the sun beats down on the thread.
