New to Forum-So. Florida

Wanted to say hello to everyone on this forum. I have been lurking for a few days and have enjoyed what I see. I only have experience in power boats and have only boated in South Florida, from Ft. Lauderdale to upper Keyes. I have a lot to learn from some of you more experienced Captains. I am thinking about becoming a full time cruiser but convincing the Admiral may be differcult. Looking forward to reading more of the posts from everyone.

Welcome to the furum! I recently joined myself. I moved up from So. Florida a few years ago and have really enjoyed the Chesapeake. Hopefully, very soon, we will be neighbors during the winters.

Good luck on sweet-talking your Admiral. The more active a partner is the more willing to follow the full-time cruiser dream.

Aloha Conderosa,
Welcome aboard!! There is a lot of good information here and very helpful members so if you have some specific questions or ideas you can "run them up the flagpole."
Kind Regards,
JohnL

Welcome to S. Florida!

We are at Dinner Key Marina in Coconut Grove. While we aren't 'experts' on a lot of stuff, we're eager learners and know the area a bit. We frequently travel to the Bahamas and Keys, so if you have specific questions, drop us a note - we don't bite!

You know what they say, the only stupid question was one that wasn't asked!

Take care, smooth sailing and again, welcome!

Lee and Terry
