New to Forum, - Hi, I'm Alan

I just bought my 2nd sailboat ( first was a 1978 Catalina 25 ).
I bought a 1979 Islander Bahama 30. I will be keeping it at Aqualand Marina, in Flowery Branch, GA.

Here are the specs/upgrades:
Includes:
New Roller Furling Sail
New Main Sail
All new running rigging
New cushions ( inside and out )
New bimini cover
Upgraded Volvo Penta 13hp inboard
All new teak wood finish.
New toilet
New heat/air-conditioning unit
New hot water heater ( for the 2 sinks and standup shower ).
2 new batteries and electrical panels with solar and dock power chargers.
New stereo and speakers.
Completely refurbished.
And 2 months of free dockage at Aqualand.

I will add some photos later today.

Aloha and welcome aboard!
Congratulations she looks like a great boat with lots of upgrades. A big step up from the Catalina but Catalinas are good too. My first boat was a Catalina 22. That was back in '81.
kind regards,

I really loved my Catalina 25. I never even sailed before I bought it. I bought the boat, then a 'sailing book'. haha.
