New to Forum
Hi all,
Just bought a Tartan 3000 1984 sailboat. We need to change out the depth finder. It is A Signet brand and is 4" in front. Does anyone know what type of silicone we should use? Non hardening would be good. We found the identical depth finder on eBay. We actually don't know how to take out the old one!

Welcome to the forum. Your local Marine store should have the right silcone sealant for you. One piece of advice... Do not take the sounder (unit in the hull) out while it is in the water.
