New to Crusing Forum
Hello All,
I think this is a grand way to talk to other cruisers. Thanks to whomever started it up. My husband and I have lived aboard before and sailed Bahamas, this time we have a catamaran ...nice change from a monohull. We bring two cats with us and split our time between our home in Colorado and the boat. Still working, but only a few months a year as physician assistants. How do I get into archives? Want to see if anyone has talked about sailing or cruising Gulf of Mexico to Central America area. I need a cruising guide and can't think of the name of the book. Help? I'd especially like to talk to some women cruisers about life aboard and share thoughts with you. |

Hi Jennifer,
Welcome etc. Great to see more ladies on the site. The search button is up the top of the page on the toolbar..........it is pretty quick. Alternately go direct to your area of interest via 'Discussion Baord' then 'Destinations' - albeit there is not yet a special section for 'Mexico / Central America'. Mr MODERATOR? Maybe there should be? Enjoy JOHN

Hi pacjennifer,
You and your husband are living the life we want to live someday! We are still working on the sailing experience part of the equation and don't yet have a boat, but are interested in smaller (30-36') catamarans when the time comes. For women-oriented threads, take a look at: seagypsywoman asks ... Looking forward to hearing more about your experiences! Elf |

We really don't have archives. It's just all here all the time. I fear it might get lost otherwise. The search button looks in all the far corners. Try your hand and see how it goes.
60,000 posts may yield something for your search, but after that just find a reasoanble section, start a new topic and ask away. Some one has been there and back a few times I would think. With 4,500 members we have boats wandering around just about every place worth going. Leaving behind some information you have acquired in your travels is the best reward we might request.

Welcome aboard,
Do you mind sharing your thoughts on the Gemini? Why you chose it? Pros? Cons? Thanks. |
