New to Cruisers Forum

After years of excuses not to be able to cruise, I have decided I'm going to follow my dream, what ever it takes. This was a promise to Dad who past away three weeks ago. I've been a charter captain for years and now retired. I look forward to any and all advice I can get from other more experienced cruisers.

Welcome aboard. If you're a charter capt you'll have lots to share. Great group here. Sorry for your loss. All the Best!

Sorry for the delayed THANK YOU for your warm welcome and kindness. It's been kind of crazy. I'm making progress on the boat and hope to do a two week test run in October and as we say in the south, God willing and the creek don't rise, I'll be headed to the Bahamas in November to start a year long voyage. Thanks again.

What a great way to honor your Dad's life--to see the world and live yours to the fullest! He must have been so proud of you. Happy Sails.
