New To CF - SF Bay Area

Hi All,
Just found Cruisers Forum and am loving it. Currently calling Vallejo, CA USA home but getting ready for the blue water. Should be leaving the SF area the middle of Sept.
Question: Is there a way to search the Members List or the site in general to learn other CF sailors in my area? I tried the Google Map thing but was unsuccessful.
Thank you for any assistance.....

Ol' Daledog

Greetings and welcome aboard Daledog.

The Custom Google Search function, found under the Search icon in the thin blue band, just above the advertising, reveals several posts containing the term “Vallejo”
Thus ➥ Vallejo - Google Search

Look forward to hearing more about your plans from now ‘till September, then about your adventures thereafter.

Aloha Dale,
Welcome aboard! I spent a bit of a yard period in Vallejo in the 70s aboard a Destroyer. Off and on over the years I've been stationed at Treasure Island and Hunters Point and have always enjoyed visiting the Bay and was able to sail the Bay last summer.
Where will you be going next?
Kind regards,
JohnL

Welcome to the forum!

I know Valley-Jo very well. I spent 4 years at Cal Maritime Academy there. I live in Alameda now. There are a number of other people from the Bay Area here. The only way I know of locating them is to start looking through the members list. There is no way to sort by city name or region that I know of.

You are welcome to start a Social Group of people from the SF Bay Area. Any member is welcome to do this.
