New to CF

Greetings!
I am new to the forum, and just ran across "meets & greets"- I just read I should have posted here first...sorry. Sailed all my life: grew up sailing, owned, chartered, lived-aboard, cruised a bit. My last boat was a casualty of my divorce, so now I'm looking for a 36-ish ft cruising for the next faze of my life. Really had fun poking through all the threads and excited to read more. Thanks to everyone who makes this work!
Tricia

Re: New to CF

Hi, Tricia, welcome aboard CF.

I can't begin to tell you how much I enjoyed your meets and greets. I then read it aloud to Jim. When I came to the end, I said, "signed, 'Tricia'."

He said, "That's a funny name for a bloke!"

There are lots of guys here who've lost their boats in divorces, too. There are a few female skipper/owners, too. Over time, you'll become aware of them.

Enjoy your time with us.

Ann

Re: New to CF

g'Day Tricia,

In self defense, I was joking!

I'll add my greetings to CF. Your background should make you a valued contributor here, so we look forward to hearing from you. Hope the boat search is fruitful and not too frustrating.

Cheers,

Jim
