New Sailor Intro

Hello everyone!

This is one of my favorite places to read up on sailing information ever since I got interested in sailing a few years ago. I've been on both powered and sailboats, however, sailing is the one that really made an impression on me and stuck with me through the years. I've really appreciated the opportunity to learn from the many members here, and I will continue to do so as I start my first sailing lessons this June. I just wanted to express my thanks to the members who have shared their experiences (both good and bad ), and I look forward to perhaps sharing some stories of my own one day.

All the best,
~HB

Re: New Sailor Intro

Welcome to the forum. I've been sailing for 35 years and still learn a lot here. Lots of really good stuff in the archives as well.

So on those cold Canadian nights when the snow is so deep you can't get out of the door, you can send hours reading through the old threads and thinking about warmer climates.

You are at a great place to learn to sail the seven seas.
