New Sailor in Dallas Texas here

Hello everyone. Over the course of the past 4 months or so I went from discovering sailing on YouTube to purchasing my first vessel! My wife and I just bought our 1979 Chrysler 26' fixed keel on Lake Grapevine less than a week ago.

I look forward to getting to know fellow boaters on here and learning from others experience, as well as helping out where I can. See you around the threads!

Howdy and Welcome Aboard CF!

Grapevine Texas is nice, and Lake Grapevine is nice for a smaller lake in Texas. I used to walk to the marina.

You should have some fun. A new boat will present some challenges, but with some lessons and practice you should be having more fun in no time.

Bon Voyage!

Welcome aboard! We're from Aledo, on the other side of Fort Worth. Currently retired and in the Med.

Always glad to welcome another Texan to the forum! Cheers!
