New Owner Cabo Rico 38

Have just acquired a 1980 CR38 (hull #31). She has just been delivered to Herrington North and is awaiting haul out later this week. Going to complete a few upgrades and routine maintenance before she sails a fee miles down the Bay to her new home at Herrington South. I would love to hear from other Cabo Rico owners in the area.

Re: New Owner Cabo Rico 38

Welcome! We have our CR38 (#115) over in Rock Hall. It's great that there are so many Cabo Rico's on the Chesapeake. Have you checked out the google groups Cabo Rico group? Lots of information and advice there. Hope to see you on the bay.

Hey! You just moved in about 8 boats down from ours! We LOVE your dodger... very classy! We saw them move it into its spot when we were working on our boat today.

Re: New Owner Cabo Rico 38

CR...Welcome to the forum...the boat does not exsist unless we see pictures.
I really like my HR but I would like to find a CR38. I usually buy major restoration projects and am hoping one day to find a CR 38 that needs a major.

Congrats and welcome to the group. You have a nice looking boat. Looking at the pics on your blog, she has a beautiful interior too.

Re: New Owner Cabo Rico 38

Congratulations on your purchase. I have always admired the Cabo Rico 38 as it seems to be a nice combination of modern design with a nice touch of classic cruising boat. Unfortunately they are very scarce on the west coast otherwise I might have bought one instead of my Valiant 40. I'm sure you will be much admired and have a great time with the boat.
