New on the Board

Greetings, cruisers! I'm a bluewater enthusiast, who is finishing up my current boat for some very extended travelling. She's an Ohlson 38 which I've been rebuilding from the ground up (bare bulkheads...no wiring, plumbing, et al). She is about ready for the first of the shakedowns after six years of work.
I reckon to base her in the Caribbean to be relatively close to parts/materials as the testing demands, then onward.
Looking forward to reading all the various germaine threads!

regards,

Nick L.

Aloha Nick,
Welcome aboard! I'm curious. Is there an Olson and and Ohlson sailboat? I know Olson as a lightly built racer. Is that the one you are doing?
Kind regards,
JohnL

The OHLSON 38 was designed by Einar Ohlson (1967), the hulls built by Tyler Boat Company (1969 - 1980), and most were finished & fitted out by owners.
