New Members here saying Hello

My husband and I have a 345 Beneatau first 1984 (Lasata). This is our second time going down the ICW. We are currently at Lady island marina for another day.

We are thinking if stopping at St. Mary's for Thanksgiving and then hope to be in Fort Lauderdale/Miami area by Christmas.

We plan on sailing over to the Bahamas early January and staying at least a month.

No idea where we will stay once in the lauderdale area so we are open to ideas. We stayed at Los Olas last year and loved it, but their monthly rate isn't all that great.

We look forward to making some new friends along the way.

Stacie & Ralph (Lasata).

welcome aboard --

couple of things -- marina in miami - the mooring balls at dinner key or a slip there --

if you have an ssb there is a great cruisers net for the east coast and the bahamas that can give some great advice if you ask

cruiseheimers - 8.152 or 0800 (i think - been a while since i checked in)

and have fun in the bahamas

Re: New Members here saying Hello

Welcome! I second Dinner Key in Miami. Nice grocery store right there and it's a short bike ride to downtown Coconut Grove.
If you need any marine supplies while you're in Miami, I deliver.
