New member with my first boat

After years of sailing on other people's boats, I've finally been able to buy my own. She's a 33 ' 1986 Newport which I purchased from the original owner. He kept it in excellent shape and we really got a bargain. I keep her on the Chesapeake Bay at Tolchester Marina and, though she's about to go on the hard, my wife and I are starting to plan our cruises for next year. I hope to meet other Bay sailors here to swap stories and information and maybe even cruise together.
