New Member to a Great Site

Hi Folks - I was trolling through the internet for info on cruising & cruising catamarans & found this site, enjoyed what I saw, so I joined.
My wife & I live in rural Victoria, Australia & are 4 1/2 years away from retirement & counting.
The plan is to live 6 months a year at our very modest beach house in South Eastern, South Australia & sail the other six.
Having sailed small 'cats' for a couple of decades, we intend to buy a cruising catamaran & mosey around Australia, Indonesia & the Pacific for another couple of decades or until our health gives out - whichever comes first.
I'm quite interested in reading more about how & where & why other cruisers dry dock their yachts over the 'down period'.
I realise we could just keep on cruising, but plan to keep it as exciting as we can for as long as we can.
We've chartered a few yacht makes & lengths we like the look of, but we're still 'tyre kicking'...???
Dream yacht - Lagoon 560
Reality - 40ish foot something or other Cat.
Anyway - 'Hi'

welcome to the forum
