New Member Introduction and New Lagoon 400

Good day all

Today is a big day for us. We just signed the document removing conditions on our new to us Lagoon 400. So looking forward to the fun and adventure from here on out.

We have faithfully reviewed cruisersforum nearly daily for the last sevenish years (okay, it maybe 10). We were here for the critique of Bumfuzzle, Boatman’s adventures to Australia, Rebelheart’s misadventure, and so on and so on. The point is, we have been around for a while.

We patiently watched but didn’t post as we were powerboat owners then. Felt our voice was not relevant. Through it all though, we learned and planned and ultimately got to where we are now - nearly sailboat owners.

So thank you to all for being a great resource through the years. Lots of reading has provided us a wealth of knowledge and now it is time to put that knowledge into practice.

Now a question for all the current lagoon 400 owners. What is the size of the face on the steps up the stern? Not the top, but the face. We are not at the vessel now, and want to get new names and hailing port decals made so we can apply them when we get there. Tough to do without those measurements.

Thanks all

Greetings and welcome aboard the CF, Knot.
Congratulations!
Sounds like you need the vertical "riser" dimension.

Uhhh, mmmm, why not contact Lagoon. They might know. They built the boat. By the way, do you have a YT channel set up, and maybe a Patreon page?

Thanks all.

Yes Gord, vertical riser is correct

PortClyde - we are not the type of people to use Patreon. And with faces and bodies made for radio, any YouTube will be for friends and family.

Contacting Lagoon will be a last resort. Figured it would be quickest if someone was at their boat and could do a quick measurement.
