New member intro

Hi all
I'm new to the forum and fairly new to using forums at all. My wife Lori and I are former racers (Express 27) from San Francisco and now cruise our J46, so far between Caribbean and Chesapeake. Racing was great for developing boat handling skills, but the transition from a racing ultra light with no systems to a full on cruising boat with radios, watermaker, generator, etc etc has been quite challenging. I'm hoping the forum will contribute to getting me further along that course.
Cheers

Welcome! This is a great forum to explore many aspects of the cruising lifestyle.

We are based in New Bern, NC, and most years spend about 6 months cruising.
